A Product of Passion

It always takes courage to go new ways and in this case: A customer request that changes everything. A piece of sports equipment suitable for competition was sought for the presentation of a new trend sport by international top athletes at the world's largest fitness trade show, FIBO in Cologne. 2014 - time for the first own product.

In addition to gymnastic exercises, the free-standing sports equipment also had to be suitable for the new sport of calisthenics and withstand the dynamic loads and freestyle compositions of athletes.

The prototype, based on the sporting requirements and constructed by an enthusiastic team of developers, was successfully presented and tested in competition in Cologne barely 3 months later. After further development to production readiness, the functional, technically sophisticated and visually highly appealing solution was introduced to the market in 2015 under the name TURNBAR.

Since then, the system has been successfully sold in many countries and is constantly being further developed. As the first German product of its kind, the TURNBAR brand is still an innovative pioneer in the segment of TÜV-certified outdoor fitness for public spaces.

In 2017, Eiden & Wagner Metallbau GmbH was awarded the German Metal Construction Prize for the TURNBAR system and concept.
